Bill McTavish

Bill McTavish has worked in the financial services industry since 1969 when he began selling Life Insurance with a large life insurance firm. Since then he has worked for several large financial institutions and in 1984 he founded Hewmac Investment Services Inc. Hewmac soon became one of the largest Independent Deposit Brokers in Canada with associates throughout Ontario. In 1996, Hewmac became a registered mutual fund dealer broadening the investment options for their clients. In 2000, Hewmac was purchased by Canadian First Financial Group, which eventually was purchased by DundeeWealth and with our recent name change Bill is now working under HollisWealth Advisory Services Inc. Bill is able to offer you mutual funds, Tax Free Savings Accounts, RESP’s, labour sponsored funds, life insurance and GICs.
Bill lives in Newmarket, Ontario with his wife of 45 years, Bonnie. Together they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren, whom reside in the Newmarket area. Over the years, Bill has been involved in several local charitable organizations and is a believer in giving back to his community through the sponsoring of various sport teams and local events. Bill enjoys golfing, travelling and spending time with his family.
He thoroughly enjoys working with his clients and strives to offer both quality products and service.
