Juliane began her career in the financial services industry at the young age of 12 when her father opened his own GIC brokerage, Hewmac Investment Services in Newmarket. She attended McMaster University and upon graduating in 1994 she began working for the family business full-time in their mutual fund dealership, Hewmac Financial Group. In 2002 Hewmac became part of Dundee Wealth when Juliane’s role became Branch Manager / Compliance Officer while still working along side her father and building her own client base. By 2012, Juliane opened a second location in Alliston, ON to allow her to support more individuals and families with their investment needs.
Juliane is passionate about working with clients of all ages in a range of financial stages in life, whether saving for situations like a first-time home purchase, retirement, post-retirement needs or a child’s education. As an independent financial advisor licensed to offer mutual funds and ETF’s she can provide her clients with products from a variety of financial institutions as well as GIC’s for those looking for safety in guaranteed products. Working along side her clients every step of the way, Juliane is committed to helping them grow their investment portfolio to meet each of their financial goals.
Juliane lives in Newmarket with her husband Mike, their two children (who are currently attending university) and their dog Macy. She believes in giving back and helping those in need. She is the currently Treasurer/ volunteer and has been on the Board of the Newmarket Food Pantry since 2016, she is a trustee of the Newmarket Awesome Foundation, she is also past Chair for Crime Stoppers of York Region and past co-chair of Newmarket High School Council. She does an annual ‘sock drive’ to collect new socks for those in need and received the 2020 Portraits of Giving Award for Newmarket and Women of Excellence finalist for 2019 & 2020. She loves spending time on the weekends in The Blue Mountains area where she & her family hike, bike and ski.
